An award for food products or ingredients bringing something new and inspiring for chefs to use when creating their menu. Entries considered could be a new ingredient; dry or fresh pasta; cooking sauce; cheese or similar – anything which would be a component of a dish but not a finished meal in itself. This award may be split into retail and foodservice categories.
Entry Requirements
- Entries should be for single products not a range.
- Products should have been launched within the 12-month award period.
- Entrants should state why products deserve to win and highlight any innovative features.
- Those entrants initially shortlisted will be asked to deliver sample products for judging.
- Judging will take account of innovation as well as taste and presentation.
Award Qualifying Period: 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025
