About this category

Each year, we will be using products from our 100% Plant-based range, Plant Deli and from our Halo range of meat and plant-based blended ingredients, enabling the chefs to prepare bold, new, and sustainable concepts in a competitive environment.

The product for this year’s competition is our Plant Deli Roast Chik’n Strips. 

Our Plant Deli Roast Chik’n Strips are made with third generation protein, known as HMMA, a texturised vegetable protein with the taste, texture, and consistency of chicken. The strips are made with non-GMO European-based soybeans (IP Certified), are 100% plant-based and flame-grilled for an authentic charred flavour. This product also celebrates an impressive Nutri-score of A and a HFSS score of –1. Full of flavour, texture, and taste, with zero compromise on health or sustainability.

The product works well with all seasonings, offering a neutral canvas for maximum creativity.
